These two pictures were taken one after the other with 2 different cameras. The first is shot with a regular point and shoot digital camera using the Night Landscape shot. It's a decent shot, but I still like it. I'm probably a little biased because of the subject in the shot :) . The second picture was taken with an SLR digital camera. The colors are much richer here, and the subject takes on a new pose that allows the viewer to see her face. Light is a critical component of these shots because it produces the colors in the landscape as well as provide highlights and contrasts to my subject on the right. I think the second picture is the strongest image of the 2.
